Since we wanted to make it to Interstate 15 within 2 days,another long day was necessary today. Refreshed after the zero day at the hot springs,we left early and exited Deep Creek Canyon at Mojave Dam less than 2 hours later. After an easy creek crossing and a short break afterwards,we reached [...] I slept in this morning and took things very slow since we had planned to spend at least half a day at the hot springs. So there was no hurry,and I really enjoyed that after a long hard day. After having some cereals with milk for breakfast,a big fat squirrel got into my [...] Our goal for today was to reach Deep Creek Hot Springs before nightfall which required a 22 mile day and a net drop of 3,000 feet of elevation.
